Placing “God First” with EFTNow, it’s easier than ever to “put God first.” Electronic Funds Transfer, known as EFT, is an easy, automatic way to make contributions to your parish family so that, together, we can continue to carry out God’s work in our faith community. The program is available to all parishioners for your weekly giving and for your pledge payments to St. Michael’s Building Fund and the Catholic Worker Houses. While the EFT program has been available since its inception in 2000, we are now making a concerted effort to educate the entire parish family. EFT is easy. The printable forms can be used to get started and must be used to make a change to or cancel an existing pledge. You can use the online giving link to begin a new pledge online. Note, there is a separate EFT form for St. Michael’s Building Fund and the Catholic Worker Houses, as this funding is separate from the parish’s annual operating budget. If you choose the option of printing a form, please send your completed forms back with your stewardship pledge to Sandy Veal at the Parish Office. Based on the information you provide in the forms, the parish’s finance director will set up the electronic transfers. You simply sit back, relax and enjoy the benefits. Traditional Choices RemainWhile many parishioners have requested this automatic withdrawal option, others may prefer to continue to use the weekly envelopes. Weekly envelopes will remain an option. In fact, all households will continue to receive envelopes unless we are directed to do otherwise. EFT parishioners canbring their weekly envelope with them each week to Mass and simply check “EFT” on the outside. Placing your envelope in the Sunday collection basket is a visible symbol of giving to God first. It can also be a good example for all those sitting around you!
