Many entertaining activities to delight and amuse have been planned for our annual parish festival, including inflatables, pony rides and a petting zoo for the kids, bingo, demonstration booths and a beer garden for the adults. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to support our parish, including a silent auction full of enticing items, a book and media sale and a raffle and other drawings. On top of all of that there will be delicious food available, including a hand carved roast beef and pork loin dinner, sponsored by the Men’s Club, tasty items at the bakery and refreshments at the concession stand.

Raffle drawings will also take place at the Fun Fest, including the Super Raffle to benefit the steeple renovation, as well as the Fun Fest drawings. Tickets for the Fun Fest drawing have been mailed to parishioners and should be returned, along with donations, to St. Michaels by May 18.

An event like this does not happen without the support of many people. Volunteers are needed to set up for the festival, staff activities during the festival and clean up after the festival. Volunteer sign up sheets are located in the Atrium. In addition, monetary and in-kind contributions are needed for the silent auction, concession booth, cake walk, craft booth, and bakery. Lawn signs will be available this weekend at the sign-up table in the atrium. Please display these in prominent places on private land to increase the awareness of this event to the community at large.
