Young At Heart is a social organization for parishioners 55 and older. It is a time to gather with new and old friends to share laughter, catch up with what is going on in your life, share a meal, or a prayer of thanksgiving. The activities can take place at church such as the Valentine's lunch in February, or the Stations of the Cross followed by a pie social. Other activities might be a trip to a play, or fun activity such as riding the lightrail to Mpls and having lunch at Murrays.
Leann Kaufenberg oversees the group, but needs 5-6 people to be on the planning committee. We have a small budget to work with. If you are interested in helping plan Young at Heart activities, please call Leann Kaufenberg 651-379-1266. |
