Young At Heart is a social organization for parishioners 55 and older. It is a time to gather with new and old friends to share laughter, catch up with what is going on in your life, share a meal, or a prayer of thanksgiving. The activities can take place at church such as the Valentine's lunch in February, or the Stations of the Cross followed by Sally Carlson's yummy pie. Other activities might be a trip to a play, or fun activity such as riding the lightrail to Mpls and having lunch at Murrays.
Leann Kaufenberg oversees the group, but needs 5-6 people to be on the planning committee. We have a small budget to work with. If you are interested in helping plan Young at Heart activities, please call Leann Kaufenberg 651-379-1266. |
